Thank you for reading and joining my blog. A little bit about me: I'm an orthopedic surgeon, mother, wife, seamstress, quilter, runner, knitter, reader, crafter, and now blogger. (Shameless insertion of my beautiful girls) I started this blog to help put information out for my patients and the general public. I care deeply about my patients and would like to help spread information based on literature to help increase orthopedic knowledge. I believe it's important to be educated about your health care and to trust that your surgeon is also dedicated to keeping your best interest at heart. I welcome any ideas for future articles or write ups and I always welcome feedback for anything I publish. A common question we get as orthopedic surgeons is if the implants we place in your body need to be removed. I am attaching a summary to this question based on literature. Enjoy!
